Survey Research

RRC has provided superior survey management and statistical analysis services to a variety of corporate and business/professional associations. Sampling Strategies

RRC has extensive experience in full population census, stratified random, and rotating panel sample designs, to name a few. Since each sampling method offers different advantages, the choice of sampling strategy is an important one.



Instrument Design and Production

RRC's design of survey questionnaires is based upon years of careful analysis of question performance. Alternative methods of wording and survey arrangement can often reduce or eliminate respondent confusion and improve the reliability of the results. RRC handles all arrangements for the printing and mailing of surveys.

Data Collection

Data collection can be a one-time engagement for a cross-sectional examination or a continuing data collection program which entails monthly, quarterly, or annual surveys. RRC is responsible for each step of the data collection process. This includes respondent tracking, codebook generation and survey coding, data entry and verification, edit and response consistency checks, mail and telephone follow-ups, and data cleaning.

Sampling Prompts

RRC has conducted special studies of survey prompts and response patterns which permit the client to optimize the survey project to get the most reliable information for a fixed dollar cost. RRC's data entry from surveys includes dating, which supports selected analysis of response patterns from prompts, and subsequent bias evaluations.



Interactive Database Management Systems

In many instances, data is entered into an on-line data base from which the client can seek interim statistical computations throughout the data entry period. Once data entry is complete, reports are prepared which can be effectively anticipated by those having access to the on-line data base.

Custom Computer Software

RRC programmers have written special statistical software utilized by our clients to provide the necessary weighting methods to properly address survey data. RRC offers automated report generation capabilities which are accessible remotely by phone.

With its significant background in statistics, RRC offers a wide range of analysis techniques and procedures and is able to identify the most appropriate statistical method on a case by case basis.
