PERMANENT PROFESSIONAL STAFF
The permanent professional staff at RRC consists of individuals trained in economics, statistics, business, computer science, and finance. Currently there are eight members of the professional staff at RRC and four members of the supporting staff. These individuals form the core work force for consulting and research projects. Assisted by the associated professional staff, these individuals provide a capability which responds readily to clients' needs.
Thomas R. Saving, Ph.D.
Dr. Saving is Chairman of
the Board of RRC, Inc. and is Director of the Private Enterprise Research Center
at Texas A&M University. He served as President of RRC for ten years and has
served as President of the Southern Economic Association, the Western
Economic Association, and the Association of Private Enterprise Education.
A University Distinguished Professor of Economics at Texas A&M, he also
held the position of Head of the Department of Economics at Texas A&M for
six years. He is currently co-editor of Economic Inquiry, as well as
Medicare Reform: Issues and Answers (1999). He co-authored The Economics
of Medicare Reform (2000). In addition, he has many articles in
professional journals and two influential books on monetary theory. His
current research emphasis is on the benefit of markets in solving the pressing
issues in health care and Social Security. In 2000, Dr. Saving was
appointed by President Clinton as a Public Trustee of the Social Security and
Medicare Trust Funds. Then, in May 2001, President Bush named Dr. Saving
to the bipartisan President's Commission to Strengthen Social Security. He
has testified in a number of trials and developed economic testimony and
argument in numerous cases involving questions of antitrust and other complex
litigation. His litigation experience covers a broad range of industries,
including automobiles, tetracycline, asphalt, concrete pipe, crude oil, oil
extraction equipment, coal slurry pipelines, natural gas pipelines, retail
gasoline, cement, health insurance, health care, business interruption, real
estate, steel, air transportation, photo processing, and others. Large
corporations, national associations, and government agencies have benefitted
greatly from Dr. Savings' more than 30 years experience in economic research and
analysis.

Donald R. House, Ph.D.
Dr. House is President of
RRC, Inc. He joined the firm in 1978. Previously, Dr. House served on
the faculties of Texas A&M University and Auburn University. His
consulting experience includes work in litigation support, health care
consulting, business consulting, and survey research. He has many publications
in leading professional journals and has also testified in a number of trials.
In the area of litigation support, his experience includes matters of antitrust,
breach of contracts, theft of proprietary business information, product warranty
violations, failures of financial institutions, exclusive dealerships, and
others. His antitrust experience includes a variety of industries such as retail
gasoline, crude oil, air transportation, aircraft simulators, health insurance,
cement, construction, pipelines, health care, computer hardware and software,
plumbing fixtures, ready-mix concrete, medical equipment, photo processing,
advertising, pneumatic tools, and others.
Additionally, Dr. House is a respected researcher and consultant in the area
of health economics and has been involved with dental surveys and research for
over 25 years. He was introduced to this area in the late 1970's as a senior
staff economist at the American Dental Association and has continued an active
research agenda through an Assistant Professorship at Texas A&M University,
as a Senior Lecturer at the Texas A&M University Medical School and as a
Visiting Lecturer at the University of Texas School of Dentistry. In addition to
numerous scholarly publications in the area of dental markets, he has also
performed a significant amount of research in the broader health care arena. Dr.
House currently serves on the Dental Economics Advisory Committee which reports
to the ADA board on dental economics issues.

Clifford L. Fry, Ph.D.
Dr. Fry is Executive Vice
President at RRC, Inc. A native Texan, Dr. Fry received his Ph.D. in
Economics from Texas A&M University in 1972. He is a former
Chairman of the Department of Finance at the University of Houston. He has also
published a variety of research papers in leading finance and economics
journals. In addition to his position at RRC, Dr. Fry has taught Antitrust
Economics and Macroeconomics as a Visiting Associats Professor of Economics at
Texas A&M University since returning to the Bryan/College Station area in
1992. Dr. Fry's business experience includes service as Financial
Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, Vice President and Senior
Financial Economist at Crocker National Bank in San Francisco, and as a member
of the Board of Directors of four financial institutions and a retail business.
Regarded as an expert in economics and finance, Dr. Fry's strong combination of
business and academic experience has proven vital in commercial damage
determinations in disputes involving breach of contract, intellectual property
theft, copyright and patent infringement, and other civil claims. Dr. Fry
has a variety of litigation experience, including antitrust market
analysis, analysis of investment risks, mismanagement of investment funds,
banking issues, business interference, trade secrets, monopsony, price fixing,
and predatory pricing. Dr. Fry's extensive teaching experience enables him
to be very effective in communicating with jurors. Dr. Fry has
testified in state and federal courts and arbitration panels, and he brings to a
case useful research experience when financial complexities are in dispute.
Dr. Fry's litigation support capabilities have been augmented by a
well-rounded variety of business consulting engagements. His efforts have been
instrumental in determining the economic impact of various industries on
the economy of the state of Texas. He has prepared forecasts of national
economic changes, forecasts of interest rates, forecasts of property
taxes and estimates of the future profitability to banks of making student
loans.

Chad R. Wade, Ph.D.
Dr. Wade is a Senior Economist at RRC, Inc. He joined RRC, Inc. in 2006, after
graduating from Texas A&M University with a Ph.D. in Economics. Dr. Wade brings
to the firm a knowledge of recent advancements in econometrics, and his expertise
proves valuable in analyses of data. Dr. Wade has been instrumental in complex
damage analyses in large commercial litigation, including the assignment of aggregate
damages among multiple defendants. RRC is one of the few firms in Texas with
the IMPLAN input-output model. Dr. Wade is skilled at utilizing this model
appropriately for analysis of economic issues in environmental impact
studies. Dr. Wade works on special studies that RRC conducts for the
American Dental Association. Dr. Wade's experience at RRC includes
litigation consulting engagements involving commercial damages, business valuation,
contract disputes, monopsony purchasing, market foreclosure, commonality and
calculability of class damages, and definition of relevant product and geographic
markets. Dr. Wade has assisted in RRC's work on the FutureGen
project proposals for the state of Texas. Dr. Wade's personal
research interests focus on how prices are transmitted throughout markets.

Michael Lang, M.S.
Mr. Lang is an Economist at RRC. His responsibilities include
research and assistance in the preparation of solutions for clients who engage RRC for
its litigative economics or management consulting expertise. He
participates in the preparation of expert reports and exhibits, the analysis
of industries and markets, and collection and study of financial data. Mr.
Lang also assists in the examination of opposing expert's reports and damage
calculations.

Blaine Buenger, B.S.
Mr. Buenger has been an integral part of litigation and business consulting services at RRC, Inc. since he joined the firm's economics staff in July 2000. His expertise extends across a wide range of business, quantitative, and financial economics issues. Mr. Buenger conducts market research and financial analyses and valuations. Mr. Buenger assists in the development of models to analyze data and calculate damages, including the valuation of lost business opportunities. He participates in the research and analysis of case documents, academic literature, and market data and in the preparation and analysis of expert reports and exhibits. Mr. Buenger assists in statistical and econometric analyses and performs complex spreadsheet calculations. His work experience at RRC includes a variety of industries such as oil and gas, medical devices, telecommunications, dental equipment and services, power mobility equipment, and heavy truck sales, among others. Mr. Buenger often works directly with business and attorney clients of RRC to ensure information is received and analyzed in a timely manner. Mr. Buenger graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas A&M University in 1995 with a B.S. in Economics.

Kristy Becker, B.A.
Mrs. Becker is Director
of The Survey and Forecasting Division at RRC. Mrs. Becker's econometric
work includes development and maintenance of large forecasting models designed
for particular client needs. Among the models currently in use are
national and state models for forecasting dentistry manpower for the American
Dental Association. Mrs. Becker is also directly responsible for all of
RRC's survey operations. Her work includes supervising and training in the
areas of coding, code checking, data entry, and data verification. Additional
duties involve the maintenance of time schedules, preparation of reports for
clients detailing progress and response rates, and coordination with client
staff. She also shares responsibility for the analysis of data and
preparation of special reports, and she also provides periodic assistance to the
business analysis and litigation staff.

Gary Petersen, B.S.
Mr. Petersen is Director of Computing Services at RRC and
is responsible for the maintenance of RRC's computing facilities and for the
development of client databases and data management software. Mr. Petersen
has managed many large complex databases in support of litigation cases and
survey data collection. He also provides analysis assistance with his programming
skills in econometric and database software. Mr. Petersen handles RRC's data
importing, exporting, and conversion services through which data in various
formats and electronic media are exchanged and deployed in
efficiently usable forms. Mr. Petersen has been employed with RRC since 1983.

Barbara Seward, B.B.A.
Ms. Seward is the financial manager for RRC. Her responsibilities
fall primarily in the areas of financial management, employee benefits, and human resources. Ms. Seward's skills and experience complement the RRC staff in special situations that require her accounting expertise.

Marilyn Franer, B.A.
Ms. Franer is the Office Manager at RRC and is responsible for organizing and
filing all documents received from our clients. She also assists the staff in research,
data entry, and graphics, and she manages the day-to-day operations of the office.
Ms. Franer assists with formatting and proofreading of reports, affidavits, and declarations.

The associated professional staff at RRC represent a core of highly skilled individuals who assist in the development of a project and, when necessary, provide expert testimony before courts and administrative proceedings. Each has worked closely with RRC's permanent staff and remains available for additional engagements.

Kent D. Nash, Ph.D.
Dr. Nash is President, Nash & Associates, Inc. and former Director of the Bureau
of Economic and Behavioral Research for the American Dental Association in Chicago.
Dr. Nash has numerous publications in the area of health care economics. He has designed
large survey data collection projects and prepared statistical and analytical presentations
from computer survey files for courts. His expertise in health economics includes
applications in the medical, dental, and hospital industries. Living now in
the Bryan/College Station area, Dr. Nash is a visiting professor in the Economics
Department at Texas A&M, and he works closely with RRC on economic and statistical
analysis of health issues.

Jeff A. Compton, CPA, CFE, ABV
Mr. Compton is President of J.A. Compton & Co., a CPA firm licensed to
practice in Texas. Mr. Compton has competency in several areas, including analysis
of accounting and financial reporting data, retrieval and restoration of data from
computer systems, the analysis of federal and state tax matters, the
investigation of suspected fraud, and bankruptcy. The firm is peer-reviewed as a
member of the Private Company Practice Section of the AICPA. Mr. Compton
can assist RRC, Inc. on projects in which reconstruction of accounting or financial data
is desirable, or on other projects involving intensive examination of accounting data,
such as claims involving accounting fraud.

William R. McCleave, PE, D.Eng.
Dr. McCleave has over twenty-five years of experience in the distribution
industry. He served as President of the Association of High Technology Distributors
for two years and headed a subsidiary of Duke Power Company for ten years. Dr.
McCleave is a frequent speaker before distributors throughout the U.S. and has served
as a consultant to a variety of Fortune 500 firms, such as Texas Instruments,
Tektronix, Exxon Chemical, Southern Company, Crane Supply, IBM, Square D,
and Siemens. He has served on the Graduate Faculty of Texas A&M University and
as a faculty member in its Industrial Distribution Program.

Robert L. Sielken, Jr., Ph.D.
Dr. Sielken is a Biostatistician and President of Sielken & Associates
Consulting, which does statistical research and consulting primarily in the area
of quantitative health risk assessment. Dr. Sielken has published more than
50 papers on cancer, non-cancer, and ecological risk assessment and co-authored a
book regarding tools for assessing cancer risks. He serves as a statistical
consultant to professional societies, industry, and state and federal governments
and provides litigation and advocacy support. Dr. Sielken is available to
assist RRC, Inc. with any statistical issues and complex modeling issues that should
arise in large project analysis.

Michael Workman, Ph.D.
Dr. Workman specializes in industrial distribution and presently consults with over
sixty major companies and over thirty national associations located throughout North
America. His experience spans many industries, such as steel, power transmissions,
machine tools, electrical supplies, plumbing supplies, chemicals, electronics, computers,
and industrial gases. He serves as the Harvey Hubbell Endowed Professor in Industrial
Distribution at Texas A&M University and is often a keynote speaker for national
association meetings. Dr. Workman has worked closely with RRC as an industry expert
in several litigation projects.
